Terms of service

Make Taksh gives you a public maker hub and an embeddable badge. You may install the badge on any site you own or have permission to modify. You may not modify the script to misrepresent what it does, or install it somewhere to imply an endorsement that doesn't exist.

Accounts are created with Google sign-in. Usernames are first come, first served. We reserve the right to reclaim a handle that impersonates a person or organisation, or that squats a trademark, and to refuse a handle that reads as official.

Handles are not recycled on deletion, because badges already installed in the wild point at them and someone else inheriting that traffic would be a genuine problem for whoever installed them.

Your name, bio, links and photo stay yours. You grant us only what we need to display them: the right to serve them publicly on your hub and through your badge. You are responsible for what you link to.

We'll remove content that's illegal, malicious, or links to malware or phishing, and we'll close the account behind it.

Make Taksh is a one-time payment of $5. There is no free plan, no subscription and no renewal. Signing in and building a badge costs nothing; publishing it (serving your badge on your sites and your hub at maketaksh.com/u/you) is what the payment covers.

Until you pay, your profile is private: the badge endpoint and your hub return nothing for it. Once you pay, it stays yours, including every app you add later. Prices may change for new purchases; yours won't be charged again either way.

Accounts that claimed a handle before 26 August 2026, while a free plan existed, keep it: three project links, all 24 palettes and a live badge, for as long as the service runs. We will not switch that off.

Email [email protected] within 14 days of buying and we'll refund it in full. After that, ask anyway. We're reasonable.

We don't offer an SLA. What we do offer is a failure mode: if the profile API is down or the script can't load, the badge renders nothing and your page is exactly as it was. It is built so that our bad day is never your bad day.

The service is provided “as is”, and our liability is limited to what you paid us, which for most people is nothing.

Delete your account whenever you like by emailing us; your badges go quiet. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, and we'll say why when we do.
